Poplar Grove: A Trip to the Farm

Last week, on November 7th, the 2nd graders were packing their things for a trip to the farm. The kids were going to Poplar Grove! Poplar Grove (not popular) was formerly a sweet potato farm and peanut plantation. They still farm, but it was established as a museum in 1980. This land includes 14 acres of a wagon ride, historic style house, blacksmith shop, and more.But the kids aren’t the only ones who can go.
