Best Foot Forward
Students in Ms. Casteen’s and Ms. Page’s classes are performing in a show called “Best Foot Forward” where they sing and dance to the song, “Octopus's Garden” by Ringo Starr. New Hanover County School System presents Best Foot Forward each year, showcasing musical and performing acts from various schools (K-12) throughout the county. Each elementary school is on a four year rotational cycle. Ogden is scheduled to perform again in 2021.
The Stingrays are excited for their first practice on November 14th with Mrs. Stemke, Ms. Page and Ms. Casteen in the Multi Purpose Room. “It’s going to take a lot of work but I know we can make it work.” quotes Mrs. Stemke after their first practice with her, Casteen, Page, and 5th grader Sarah Thomas who will be featured in the beginning and end of the song.
