Thanksgiving
As you know Thanksgiving is coming up soon, the 24th this November. Thanksgiving is always the last Thursday in November. Thanksgiving dinner usually includes turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing,and other delicious foods. The holiday started in 1621 with the Wampanoag and Pilgrims to celebrate a plentiful feast. Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for all of the things you have and come together with your family.
Thanksgiving first was announced as a national holiday by Abraham Lincoln in 1863 during the Civil War and we have celebrated it ever since.
