Night Fears Poem

 Night Fears
Boom a bolt of lightning strikes,
A shadow moves beyond the trees.
A loud cry, of the mountain lion echos beneath.
We all chatter in fear,
But no one amongst us can hear.
The loud fire crackling,
Because we are all lacking fear.
The howl of the wolves, in the dark night,
For they must have some fright.
Our eyes suddenly drift asleep,
But through the night we didn't worry nor weep.
